Alpha layer tips for Vika's Mesh Body 4 Clothing Applier Layers

Hi all!

I just did some quick tips for working with Alpha and the Vika's Mesh Body 4 Clothing Applier Layers. There may be times where you have a clothing item on the top or bottom that has some sheer already in the texture, so here are tips on how you can turn this on or off!

Vika's applier layers tips: if you would like a clothing item to show as sheer (if it already has alpha sheer included) right click on the applier layer (I have selected the pants layer) and go to Edit.

Once in Edit go to the Texture tab. Then where it says Materials to the right go in to Texture (diffuse). The layer probably started as Alpha blending - this takes away the sheerness and you may find it handy for other items to turn this back on. Your layer may already be set to Alpha blending (this will show sheer with some glitches, explained later), which will let you see the sheer alpha parts of the clothing.

In this pic I have changed my pants layer to Alpha blending and a known glitch has caused the upper part of the undies to disappear. This can be fixed by right clicking on the top applier layer - this works with other SL clothing that might have an Alpha glitch issue.

In this pic I have clicked on my top layer and the upper part of my undies are back. You can also see the subtle sheerness (notice the tattoos!)
